Mathematics-Axiom

Axiom is logical statement that is assumed to be true. In mathematics axiom is measured in two areas that is logical axiom and non logical axiom.

In both above cases axiom is mathematical statement that serve as a starting point from which other statements are logically derived.

Logical axioms are usually taken to be universally true.

Axiom of Equality => For each variable X, the formula X = X can be regarded as axiom.
