Mathematics-Decimal Fractions

Fractions in which denominators are powers of 10 are called Decimal fractions.

Eg::) 0.1 = 1 / 10

       0.01 = 1 / 100

       56.24 = 5624 / 100

       0.34 = 34 /100
       
If we want to arrange the fractions in ascending or descending order, then that fractions are converted into decimal form, then arrange them accordingly. 

Recurring Decimal ::- In a decimal fraction, set of figures after the decimal point is repeated continuously, then such decimal fractions are called recurring decimal. Eg:: 0.333

Pure Recurring Decimal ::- In such decimal fractions, all the figures after the decimal point are repeated continuously. 
                                         Eg::) 0.535353....

Mixed Recurring Decimal ::- In such decimal fractions, some of the figures after the decimal point are repeated continuously, but not all of them. 
                                        Eg::) 0.125666666....
