Common Admission Test Exam

CAT is an all India level national test conducted by IIMs (Indian Institute of Management) for the admission to Management schools. Candidates are called for next stage of selection process based on their CAT percentile score.

Doing an MBA is one of the highest, if not the first, priority in the career plans of almost every college student today. There are several reasons behind why MBA become so sacrosanct. One is the increasing acceptability of MBA as the basic entry level criteria for corporate managerial jobs. Another is the saturation of job opportunities in the government sector.Armed with an MBA from a premier institute such as the IIMs, XLRI, Bajaj, FMS, or a PGDBM ( Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management awarded by XLRI ) or PGBM, you can get job in most reputed organisations today. With starting salaries for fresh graduates ranging from Rs. 3-7 lack.

Choosing the right Institute is essential to get a good job. Because only the institutes with good curriculum, faculty, and infrastructure, affiliation to a technical body, and placement record would be useful towards getting into the right job.

The Admission to most institutes is mainly based on the following criteria:

        1. Past Academic Record.

        2. Performance in the Admission test

        3. Performance in the group discussion

        4. Performance during the personal interview
